Dr Praveen Kumar M completed his MBBS from B R Ambedkar Medical College, Bangalore and he pursued Master of Doctrine (M.D) in General Medicine from Sham Shah Medical College, Madhya Pradesh. He worked as insurance medical officer in Employee State Insurance (ESI) for 2 years. He had developed interest in rheumatology and immunology , resigned from the job and pursued DM in Clinical Immunology & Rheumatology from prestigious institute - Nizams Institute of Medical Science, Hyderabad. After completion of DM, he joined as consultant rheumatologist in Chanre Rheumatology and Immunology research centre under guidance of Dr Chandrashekara.S. He worked as consultant rheumatologist at Manipal hospital, Yeshwanthapur. Now he is full time consultant at Daivika arthritis and rheumatology centre and visiting consultant at Fortis hospital , Nagarabhavi. He is a member and active participant of Karnataka rheumatology association and Indian Rheumatology association. His field of expertise is in managing autoimmune diseases like Lupus (SLE), Vasculitis, Gout, Rheumatoid Arthritis, Osteo Arthritis, Spondylarthritis and myositis.
